Business Monitoring Service
Our Business Monitoring service can help you manage your accounting department, implement and maintain clean, efficient accounting processes, advise on risk management, and provide high-level financial reporting to management.
Project Based Assignments
This service includes a “scrub” of all Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts since last tax filing as well as entering and reconciling of all missing and additional transactions required to produce complete and accurate financial statements for the year(s) in question.
Payroll Processing
Either by utilizing your current time-keeping system, or by implementing a new one, EQUUS will process payroll based on an established schedule (weekly, biweekly, etc.). The Payroll Processing service also includes the completion of insurance audits, if required.
Monthly Accounting & Bookkeeping
Recording and reconciling of all transactions, including reconciling and processing of Accounts Receivable, Payables, and Payroll. Financial statements are provided, as well as customized reports as needed. Includes a year-end package for easy tax preparation.
Bookkeeping & QuickBooks Training
This service has been designed for customers that are already utilizing QuickBooks software who need to train their current staff on all QB modules. It may also include training for the implementation of bookkeeping processes that Equus has recommended.

Nanci Jo graduated with a Bachelors degree in Accounting from UMass Dartmouth. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, small business is in her blood. She is naturally in tune with the needs of small business owners, while also having the experience of working with national retailers with multi-million dollar sales. Nanci Jo has completed the QuickBooks Online and Desktop Certifications and can provide strategic insights to help grow your small business.
Equus got its name from Nanci Jo’s love of all things horses. She started riding at age 12 when she received her first pony, continued riding and competing through college, and still rides today, receiving her last horse as a 40th birthday present.
Now that she is a small business owner herself, Nanci Jo has the freedom to do the work she loves, helping other small businesses, without compromising time with her family. She loves to go camping and spends many vacations exploring new parts of the country in the family camper with her husband Jason, their two kids Kevin and Charlotte, and their two dogs, Harry and Zeus.
